Jamming in the campgroundThe Minnesota Homegrown Kickoff is a three-day outdoor music and camping festival featuring regional bands performing bluegrass, old-time stringband, and related forms of acoustic music. A variety of regional bands will be selected to perform May 30-June 1, 2008 at El Rancho Mañana Campground & Riding Stables near Richmond, Minnesota. Meanwhile, bluegrass and old-time musicians from across the Midwest will keep the campfires ringing with jam sessions around the clock.

CampgroundsTentative main stage showtimes will be 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM Friday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM Saturday, and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Sunday. In addition to the main stage performances there will be workshops, organized jam sessions, music and craft vendors, and good food available.

The Gathering Place, a large tent not far from the main stage area, serves as a welcome center for all who come to the Minnesota Homegrown Kickoff. Bring your lawn chairs. No displays of alcohol are allowed in the concert area.
