Pre-Festival INSTRUCTIONAL CAMPS at El Rancho Mañana Campground on August 7-10, 2008

BLUEGRASS JAM CAMP with Monroe Crossing
August 5-7 2008

Monroe Crossing — Matt Thompson (mandolin), Art Blackburn (guitar), Lisa Fuglie (fiddle), Mark Anderson (standup bass), and Benji Flaming (banjo) — will host a three-day bluegrass instructional camp. This camp is for beginners and intermediate level players and will include individual instrument instruction plus group playing and harmony singing dynamics. This is a great way to start a great festival weekend. Tuesday August 5th (after 6PM) through Thursday August 7th 2008. $95.00 registration fee before June 15, $120 after that date. Pre-registration advised. Class size is limited to twelve students per instructor.

OLD-TIME FIDDLE & BANJO CAMP
August 6-7 2008

Sammy Lind (Foghorn Stringband) on fiddle and a banjo instructor yet to be announced will host two solid days of old-time stringband instruction. $80.00 registration fee before June 15, $95 after that date. Class size is limited to twelve students per instructor.
