Join as a member band

With a roster of over 100 active bluegrass, old-time and related traditional acoustic music bands, MBOTMA serves as a resource for anyone seeking to contact bands and musicians throughout the state and region. Band membership includes one subscription to Inside Bluegrass, notification of booking opportunities for MBOTMA events, one free classified ad per year, and listings in the MBOTMA member band directory in Inside Bluegrass and in our website.

Becoming a MBOTMA member band means you are not only nurturing your own interests, but helping to ensure that the bluegrass and old-time music tradition grows in Minnesota.

To process a band membership, we will need to know:

• the name of the band


• the band category in which your band should be placed


• name of the individual who will serve as the band contact


• band contact's phone number


• band contact's email address


• band's website address, if any
