Festival Location

The Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Festival(August) and the Minnesota Homegrown Kickoff (June) are held each year at El Rancho Mañana Campground & Riding Stables in Stearns County, about 20 minutes West of St Cloud. The naturally shaded concert seating area and a beautiful main stage facility, designed and built by MBOTMA with the assistance of dozens of volunteers in 2002, make the site one of the most beautiful in bluegrass.


El Rancho Mañana is Minnesota's largest campground and riding stable. The campground itself covers approximately 208 acres. 25 miles of hiking and riding trails meander through over 1200 acres of beautiful rural Minnesota landscape. El Rancho Mañana has been owned and operated by the Ward family since 1963.

El Rancho Mañana is located about 90 miles northwest of Minneapolis. It is about 20 miles west of St Cloud. From either city follow I-94 west to exit #153 at Avon. Drive 9 miles south on County Road 9 and then turn left on Manana Road. The towns of Richmond and Cold Spring are just a few miles to the south. El Rancho Mañana is close to the geographic center of the state, easily accessible to folks from anywhere in Minnesota.
