Fall Jam is back in 2021!

The Minnesota Bluegrass Fall Jam will be held October 29th-31st at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Plymouth. As always, the Fall Jam is dedicated to bringing you the very best workshops, plus "Fireside Live" open stage, Draw BandsTheme Jams, Old Time Jams and much more!

  • Irene Kelley - Bluegrass & Country Singer/songwriter  who is also presenting a Songwriting Workshop (see info below)

The Fall Jam will once again be held in conjunction with the Great Minnesota Ukulele Gathering (GMUG) and their full complement of concerts and workshops that everyone is welcome to attend! It's like getting two festivals with one ticket!

No matter what instrument you play, or what level you play at, you're sure to find valuable and entertaining workshops led by some amazing national and regional talent. Irene Kelley Songwriting Workshop

This year the Fall Jam is proud to present our 2 day intensive Songwriters Workshop featuring Irene Kelley!

October 28th (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

October 29th (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

IRENE KELLEY is a successful singer/songwriter   and  recording artist living in Nashville for 35+ years.   Her songs enjoy worldwide airplay, have been   licensed for film and TV, and recorded in many   genres of music, including Country, Pop, Bluegrass,   Children’s Music and others.  Alan Jackson, Trisha   Yearwood, Loretta Lynn, Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda   Vincent, Little Big Town, Pat Green, Pure Prairie   League and others have covered her songs. Irene   has recorded for MCA Nashville and Relentless/Nashville as a country artist. Her current career as a Bluegrass artist has been distinguished by having 6 #1 songs on the Bluegrass Today Singles Chart.

Irene will share her experience of the writing process which will include: 

  • How/where to find inspiration 
  • The importance and meaning of metaphors 
  • How to present a song for outside consideration
  • Dos and don’ts of songwriting and pitching
  • And much more.

Volunteer Sign Up is open now! For every hour you volunteer, you’ll get an entry in a drawing for a major prize. We need people to:

  • Sell wristbands, T-shirts, merchandise
  • Help with festival set up and tear down
  • Help load sound/stage equipment in and out
  • Staff the membership table
