Camping at the August Festival

This year, tickets and camping are being sold in the same transaction. When you purchase Weekend tickets, you have an option to add one of the following:

Non-Utility (Rough) Camping
(included with Weekend Tickets)

The festival grounds includes hundreds of non-utility sites which are included in Weekend Ticket purchase. Non-utility sites are available in a variety of designated areas and may not be reserved in advance.

Generators are allowed in non-utility sites but please note generator use is only allowed from 9 a.m. to Noon and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., except in designated 24-hour generator areas where they can be used anytime. External generators must be labeled as US Forest Service approved.

Reserved Utility Campsites (add $130)

Reserved Utility Campsites are perfect for RVs and Campers of just about any size. Sites have guaranteed 20amp electrical service, and some have up to 50amps available. When you register for a Reserved Utility site, you will be asked for the size of your vehicle, the electrical service that you need (only up to 20amp is guaranteed regardless of your request), and whether you require water hook ups.

Reserved Utility Campsites are assigned first to returning campers who register by May 1. If you had a utility site in 2023 but cannot attend the festival in 2024, please let us know at 601-651-3694 or info@minnesotabluegrass.org so we can make appropriate arrangements. If you request a refund for your site, you will not have first choice to reserve it next year.

If you didn't have a utility site last year but would like one, you will be placed on the Waiting List in the order you register.

Waiting List sites are assigned on a first-come, space available basis depending on camper/RV size and utility requirements. Payment is required at the time of registration on the Waiting List, but will be refunded if you do not get a spot. Spots will be assigned up to the time of the event.

Refunds for registrant cancellations are available until July 1, 2024.

Reserved Tent Camping (add $110)

These sites are in the Reserved Utility Camping area of the campground close to the lake, main festival grounds, and the bath house (showers). Power Hook-ups are not guaranteed.

There are a limited number of sites available. Refunds for registrant cancellations are available until July 1, 2024.
