Key Volunteers 

Key Volunteers are positions that are not tied to any one festival or event but rather work across the organization in concert with festival and event committees, Events Manager, Executive Director, and other Key Volunteers. Promotions Coordinator

Oversees promotions for all festivals and events including Social Media, Email Content, Media Promotions, Magazine, Onsite Media, Partnerships. Create content, oversee other volunteers, create and distribute festival and event marketing materials, assist with media promotions and ticket outlets, write event and promo copy for festival emcees, work with partners to ensure accurate promotional info is being used, work with magazine and website editors to ensure timely and accurate information is available.

Front Gate Coordinator(s)

Oversees front gate for all festivals including training volunteers, setup/teardown, organization, and controlling money. Work with Volunteer Coordinator to determine needs for front gate/ticket tables, train volunteers, write volunteer tasks, organize front gate/ticket table items, track inventory, setup and develop effective systems.  

Membership Coordinator(s)

Represent the organization at events, handle membership requests and renewals, oversee member area at August Festival, recognize and support members. Create and distribute recruitment materials, communicate regularly with members, send renewals and acknowledgements, develop ways to recognize and thank members, oversee hospitality/meeting member area at August Festival.

Volunteer Coordinator(s)

We're looking for a tech-savvy person to work with Mary McSorley with the recruitment, retention, and recognition of the hundreds of volunteers required to put on our festivals and events throughout the year.
